Current Events of Joanna Whitney

I am working on a new body of work. I have a bunch of new stuff - see New Work and Intuitive Assemblage and Doodle Drawings

Due to the economy, I have turned my attention and creative expertise to helping my community get back to work. In addition, I am not focussing my attention on "marketing" art because I feel that culturally art marketing has become so commidified that it is no longer about the spirit of the work and is aimed solely to the wealthy who have a disposable income. This is of no interest to me. Although my art is still "for sale", I am not really putting any effort into selling it, at this time.

My energy is going entirely into the Denver Worker Cooperative Grocery Store
