Every cooperative is a resource. There is not that much happening in Colorado right now, but the beauty of cooperatives is that they are non-competative and so they will help other cooperatives in whatever way they can. To give an example, The Cheeseboard, in Berkelely, CA, gave all it’s recipes and it’s business plan and structure as well as teaching assistance to the first Arizmendi Bakery. Now, the Cheeseboard and the Arizmendi Bakery Cooperatives are all successful together in the East Bay, San Francisco, and San Rafael, and have formed a loose association called The Arizmendi Association of Cooperatives.
